TWISTED SISTER Frontman Says 'Stay Hungry' Producer Should 'Shut The Fuck Up'
March 1, 2004TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider has responded to producer Tom Werman's assertion that TS didn't "know what they were doing" during the making of the band's "Stay Hungry" album (which Werman produced).
Speaking to Kate Abbott of iBerkshires.com in early February about his lifetime career as a heavy metal producer with 13 platinum and 10 gold records to his credit, Wermansaid, "It's not always easy, especially if the artists were using drugs or drinking. That was common. It's not anymore. It's harder to make a hit record with a band like TWISTED SISTER than with a band like THE EAGLES, because THE EAGLES know what they're doing."
In the latest installment of his of his regular online update, "Dee Speaks", Snider slams Werman for his comment, accusing him of, among other things, not knowing what he was doing behind the board, doing drugs, and trying to keep the band's biggest hit, "We're Not Gonna Take It", off the "Stay Hungry" album, and finally concluding by saying that Werman "should shut the fuck up before I fuck him up."
